July went by too quickly, but that’s what happens when the days are full of fun things to do! Folks started off the month watching the Lancaster fireworks. Thanks to our wonderful community friends, the Royal Neighbors, who made cute “firecrackers” for the holiday. You are so thoughtful! A big thank you to Marty Mayne and John Finney for cooking up a delicious fish fry! Your visit and food were wonderful! Toward the middle of the month, some of the folks rode the bus to Catfish Charlie’s in Dubuque for a lovely lunch on the deck and afterward the bus made a stop at Fincel’s Sweet Corn to pick up some of the sweetest corn around! We also were honored to be part of the 100th birthday celebration for Janet Paulson. What a joy to walk beside seniors on their aging journeys!
