There was a lot going on in November! A number of events were planned to commemorate Veterans Day and our eight resident veterans - a special meal, a performance by the 5th grade students from Winskill Elementary School, and a poster contest for middle and high school students. Two talented artists each received $25 in Chamber Dollars! Residents had a tough time choosing the winners. Folks enjoyed turning a Ding Dong into a turkey and making Rocky Road Pudding during cooking class, and they did a terrific job making and painting salt dough ornaments. A good group went to the Soup Lunch at the Schreiner Memorial Library and had a good visit with community friends. Add to that a lovely family-style Thanksgiving meal with neighbors who double as dear friends and it was a wonderful month indeed. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
