Senior ladies hold and pet a baby goat brought in by a staff member.

April had more than its share of special days, starting with National Walking Day. The weather wasn’t the greatest, so folks just walked inside. The 8th was Fire Safety Day. A big thank you to Fire Department Division Chief Jon McCartney for his presentation. The 11th was National Submarine Day, with sub sandwiches and an underwater party to celebrate. Thanks to housekeeper and cook Kayla for bringing in her baby goats, and to Sadie Goettle, the Wisconsin Honey Queen, for her presentation about bee colonies and the honey industry. Students for Life members from UW-Platteville played games with folks, the Lilac Hills singers performed, and the Saint Clement 6th graders helped paint rocks to make a Rock Snake. Community members are encouraged to add their own painted rocks to make it grow! To top it all off, Sonny Days were celebrated by giving out free ice cream treats to everyone who stopped by!
