January gave everyone at Morningside a chance to catch their breath and rest a bit after the busy Christmas season, but they didn’t rest for long! January 15 was National Hat Day, and folks wore some great ones! Larry Busch stopped in and entertained everyone with his wonderful musical talents and story-telling. Thank you to members of Sleep in Heavenly Peace of Grant County for sharing their mission of building beds for kids in need. Community friends Ken and Betty and their friends put on a lovely concert and volunteer Steve played some rounds of cards. And as always, student visits from Saint Clement School and Winskill Elementary were highlights of the month. These kiddos are a joy to have around!
