To kick off the month, folks made lovely May Baskets. Even some of the guys enjoyed the project! A yummy taco salad and margaritas helped celebrate Cinco de Mayo, and the ladies were honored for Mother’s Day with a lovely tea party with their families. The warmer weather meant it was time to plant flowers around the building – always a favorite pastime for those with green thumbs. Local physician Dr. Erin Huebschman brought in beautiful quilts she’s been making since retiring, which was extra-special for some as they were former patients. There was a picnic for Memorial Day and an interesting visit from Sheriff Deputy Matthew and K9 Vezer. On a sad note, everyone was sorry to have to say goodbye to faithful four-legged friend Ginger and her human, Richard. Ginger is retiring from pet therapy visits, and we thank them for all the love they brought over the years. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
