What a month we had in September! National Assisted Living Week was the 7-13th and the theme was “Ageless Adventure”. There were special events to recognize residents and staff and dress-up days like Favorite Color Day and Crazy Day. Folks went to Orchard Manor to watch a performance by the Spoon Man and had a camping adventure with spooky stories, a campfire lunch and s’mores. There was also a luau and a Packers Tailgate Party, and the Vesperman Farms ice cream truck made its annual stop to bring delicious treats. Add to that a UTV ride, a veterans presentation by the Lancaster VFW Post 2344 and making scarecrows – and it was a very full and fun month! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
