There’s always much to be thankful for at Morningside, and that was the case in November with so many wonderful visits by community groups! But first Veteran’s Day was celebrated, honoring Paul R., Jim, Jack, Denny, Janet, Alvin and Paul D. with a luncheon and patriotic songs by the 5th graders from Winskill Elementary. The Lancaster National Honor Society came to play cards, and each second grade class from Winskill also spent time with folks. The last group was the Busy Badgers 4-H group. Everyone so enjoyed doing crafts, playing games and just enjoying each other, and we thank the teachers and parents who value intergenerational programming. It’s a win-win for everyone!
