February is the shortest month of the year, but residents still made sure to pack a lot of fun activities into it! They attended a delicious soup luncheon at Schreiner Memorial Library, enjoyed entertainment by the Larry Busch Trio for Valentine’s Day, and had fun needling together a quilt for a staff member. Resident Clara Mumm also received a singing telegram organized by her family for Valentine’s Day that the entire residence got to enjoy! Lastly, Schreiner Memorial Library assisted the seniors in researching their ancestry online. One resident found out she was related to the woman helping them research their genealogy, another found out her ancestry was from Canada, and another found a picture of their brother on the internet! How exciting! Special thanks to all who shared their time and talents with us this past month. To view photos, please click on the web album.
