The month of November was a great one for Morningside residents. They made crafts for Christmas, enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with one another, and were thrilled when students from Saint Clement School biked and walked around the building with thoughtful signs. The kids brought so much joy with their smiles and energy! In honor of Veterans Day, six resident veterans received beautiful Quilts of Valor as a token of appreciation for their time in the service. Heartfelt thanks to all veterans for their sacrifice and service to our nation! Another thank you to Pastor Mary Ann Floerke for spending countless hours making the lovely quilts, and to Karen Demaree, area rep for Quilts of Valor, for presenting the quilts and talking about the history of the foundation.
